The Pearl Ella Johnson (PEJ) Wellness Center is located in the Watts/Willowbrook area of Los Angeles. This program serves adults with serious and persistent mental illness. The wide array of mental health services offered at the PEJ Wellness Center are specifically designed for clients who no longer require more intensive treatment offered by traditional outpatient clinics or case management programs. In the welcoming environment of the PEJ Wellness Center, clients are encouraged to become responsible for their own continued growth, wellness, recovery, self-sufficiency and mental health maintenance.

At the PEJ Wellness Center clients will find group and individual opportunities for therapy, rehabilitation, education, symptom management, life skill building, socialization, and friendship. Professional staff and peer mentors are there to assist clients with achieving their wellness goals and coping with the stressors of daily life. In addition, the PEJ Wellness Center offers medication support and linkage to community healthcare, employment and educational resources.
